Welcome to Our Kindergarten World

Welcome to Kindergarten!  I am so excited to be able to share our days with you.  I have been teaching for 10 years, but have been in the education field for 20 years.  I was a paraprofessional in the learning disabled classroom for three years until I became a mother and wanted to stay home to raise my children.  I continued to substitute teach in the district because I love being in the classroom.  My husband is Doug Basye and we have three children:  Jordan-20, Olivia-17, and Brett-13.  I love teaching and feel there is no better place to work than with 5-6 year olds who are full of energy, excitement and pure enjoyment.  Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to be a small part of your child's life!
